Dr Aileen Yen is a general and laparoscopic surgeon with a colorectal interest. She graduated from the Graduate Medical Program at University of Sydney and also completed a Master of Surgery (Colorectal) through Sydney University.
Dr Yen trained through the Western Sydney surgical network, including Westmead, Nepean and Hawkesbury hospitals. She also further trained as a fellow at Nepean Acute Surgery Unit, Royal Melbourne Colorectal unit and Advanced laparoscopic colorectal fellow at Colchester NHS Trust, UK.
Dr Yen is senior instructor for the CCrISP course (Care of the Critically Ill Surgical Patient – a Royal Australasian College of Surgeons skills course) and is also a clinical lecturer for School of Medicine at The University of Notre Dame.
