Dave is an obstetrician and gynaecologist with longstanding interest in Fertility and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery. He obtained his Medical Degree and Master of Reproductive Medicine from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), before completing his specialist RANZCOG training with Fellowships in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility (REI), and Minimally Invasive Gynaecology Surgery (MIGS).
Dave was awarded a PhD in Reproductive Biology from UNSW. His research focused on the causes of poor egg quality in older women, for which he received the Commendation for Research Excellence Award. Concurrent with his fellowship in REI, Dave undertook further training in Minimally Invasive Surgery at the Sydney Women’s Endosurgery Centre (SWEC), one of the highest volume surgical units in the country, under the tutelage of world-renowned MIGS surgeons.
In addition to his busy clinical practice, Dave continues to be involved in teaching and research, and is leading a clinical trial to investigate a novel surgical technique for the treatment of endometriosis to maximise fertility outcome.
Dave has devoted his career to the pursuit of excellence in Women’s Health and is committed to providing the highest standard of care for patients.
